ڈان اخبار میں شائع غیر ملکی خبر رساں ادارے ’اے ایف پی‘ کی رپورٹ کے مطابق تھری ڈی پرنٹنگ ٹیکنالوجی تیزی سے ترقی کر رہی ہے اور کمپنیاں اس سے مختلف اشیا تیار کر رہی ہیں، تاہم اب پہلی بار اس کی مدد سے ایک تھری ڈی راکٹ بھی اڑان بھرے گا۔

اس راکٹ کا نام ’ٹیران ون‘ ہے، جسے بدھ کے روز اڑان بھرنا تھی لیکن درجہ حرارت کے مسائل کی وجہ سے اسے آخری لمحات میں ملتوی کر دیا گیا تھا، تاہم راکٹ کے لانچ کی نئی تاریخ کا اعلان بعد میں کیا جائے گا۔

اگر راکٹ زمین کے نچلے مدار تک پہنچنے میں کامیاب ہو جاتا ہے تو یہ میتھین فیول استعمال کرتے ہوئے اپنی نوعیت کا پہلا تھری ڈی پرنٹڈ راکٹ ہوگا جو فضا میں اران بھرے گا۔

یران 1 اپنی پہلی پرواز کے لیے زیادہ وزن لے کر اڑان نہیں بھرے گا لیکن جلد ہی یہ راکٹ 2 ہزار 755 پاؤنڈ تک کا وزن رکھنے کے قابل ہو جائے گا، راکٹ کی لمبائی 110 فٹ ہے۔

کیلیفورنیا کے شہر لانگ بیچ کی کمپنی کے مطابق یہ اب تک کا سب سے بڑا تھری ڈی پرنٹڈ پروجیکٹ ہے جس کا مقصد ایسا راکٹ تیار کرنا ہے جو 95 فیصد تھری ڈی پرنٹڈ ہو۔

تھری ڈی پرنٹڈ راکٹ تیار کرنے والی امریکی کمپنی کو راکٹ لانچ کرنے میں 7 سال لگے اور ابھی یہ واضح نہیں ہوسکا کہ یہ راکٹ لانچ ہونے کے بعد مستقبل میں کیا تبدیلیاں لائے گا، اس سے قبل کوئی بھی کمرشل کمپنی پہلی کوشش میں زمین کے مدار تک پہنچنے میں کامیاب نہیں ہوسکی۔
